After studying at the Académie d'Uccle, Xavier Locus entered the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles in the class of Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden, graduating with great distinction. He was admitted to the Imola Academy and went on to perfect his skills in Verona. He has won numerous competitions, including the Chopin Foundation. He has already performed extensively in Belgium and abroad. With clarinettist Julien Ellouet, he founded the Duo Tandem 66. He also devotes himself to teaching, and in 2024 joined the Zemlinsky Quartet and pianist Frank Peters for the Stavelot Master classes.
