Born in 1975 near Lyon, he did all his training there, discovering Lied and mélodie on the one hand, and the art of interpreting this repertoire on the other. His career was launched in 1999 at the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence, where he sang the role of Papageno in Mozart's The Magic Flute. In 2001, he made his debut at the Paris Opera and embarked on an international career (Monnaie de Bruxelles, Montpellier, New York, Glyndebourne, Strasbourg, Madrid, Toulouse...). He won the Victoire de la Musique Classique in 2019 in the opera artist category. The Stavelot Festival will have the honour of welcoming him to open its 68th season.
