Founded in 2003 by four students from the Paris Conservatoire, the Modigliani Quartet trained with the Ysaÿe Quartet. It perfected its skills with Walter Levin, Georghiu Kurtag and the Artemis Quartet in Berlin. He has won numerous international prizes and remarkable discography awards. He can be heard all over the world, in quartet or with brilliant partners. In 2014, he became artistic director of the Rencontres internationales d'Evian. The Quartet, which has just celebrated its 20th anniversary, plays on magnificent old instruments: Antonio Stradivarius (1715) Giovanni Battista Guadagnini ( 1780), Antonio Mariani (1660) and Matteo Goffriller (1706).
