For more than thirty years, Louis Lortie has been regarded as one of the most versatile pianists in the world, with a remarkable musical range reflected in his repertoire, concerts and recordings. He trained in Montreal with Yvonne Hubert, a pupil of Alfred Cortot, and Léon Fleischer, a disciple of Artur Schnabel. From the outset, he won numerous prizes and, in 2017, became co-founder of the Como International Festival. He gives recitals and chamber music concerts in the most prestigious concert halls. From 2017 to 2022, he was Master in Residence at the Queen Elisabeth Chapel.
