Born in Poland, Kacper Nowak began playing the cello at the age of 8. A year later, he won a competition in Austria and entered the Frédéric Chopin School in Poznan. He became a member of the National Foundation for Gifted Children. In 2006, he joined Didier Poskin's class at the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles. He continued his studies at the Musikhochschule in Cologne with Maria Kliegel. He also studied with Justus Grimm at the Antwerp Conservatoire. Since 2014, he has been artist-in-residence at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel, where he studies with Gary Hoffman. He has won numerous prizes in various national and international competitions.
