Julien Libeer (B)

PIano

Born near Brussels in 1987, Julien Libeer has had a passion for the piano since the age of 6. He studied with Daniel Blumenthal at the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles and for five years with Jean Fassina in Paris. He is an associate member of the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel, where he has worked with Maria João Pires and specialised in chamber music with the Artemis Quartet. Although not involved in any competitions, he has nevertheless received several honorary prizes and is applauded on many international stages. His recording of the ten Beethoven sonatas with Lorenzo Gatto was a great success.
