Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden is an integral part of the Belgian artistic landscape, and King Philippe has knighted him in 2019. A pupil of Eduardo del Pueyo, he made his name with a brilliant 3rd Prize at the Queen Elisabeth Competition when he was just 16, and his reputation has never wavered since. He is a concert performer with an impressive repertoire and a chamber musician much sought after for his perfect complicity with his partners. He taught for many years at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels and still gives advice to young artists at the Queen Elisabeth Chapel.
