Violin

The Belgian violinist Elsa de Lacerda won several competitions at an early age before graduating from the Brussels Royal Conservatory. She went on to perfect her skills in the USA and Siena and with renowned quartets (Lasalle, Hagen, Artemis, etc.). First violin of the Alfama Quartet for 16 years, she has performed in prestigious concert halls and festivals. Her discography has been acclaimed by Belgian and international critics. She is a journalist and music critic on Musiq3 - RTBF, on other radio stations and in the press. She plays a 1766 Florentine Tomaso Carcassi violin on loan from the M. Guttman collection.
