Born in 1975, French pianist Cédric Tiberghien began his musical studies at the age of 5. He continued his studies at the Paris Conservatoire, where he was awarded a First Prize in 1992. He took part in a number of international competitions, and in 1998 won the 1st Grand Prix at the Long-Thibaud Competition in Paris. Since then, his international career has developed remarkably, whether in recital, with orchestra or in chamber music. He takes part in numerous international festivals, where he is a great success, both as a soloist and with the most renowned partners and conductors. International critics shower him with the highest praise.
