Born in 1993 in Perpignan, Bruno Philippe began his cello studies there. He continued his studies in Paris with Raphaël Pidoux, then at the Conservatoire National where he joined Claire Désert's chamber music class. He participated in numerous master classes, notably in Salzburg, and quickly received numerous awards, including that of Laureate of the first Queen Elisabeth Competition for cello in 2017. Invited on the major stages and in numerous festivals, he is applauded as a soloist with orchestra or in chamber music, with musicians or ensembles of great renown.
